A light early morning breeze blows across the busy streets of Tokyo Japan, many young people we're going to their schools either in groups or just alone. But one girl was standing at the bottom of the hillside of her high school, no one knew if she was waiting for someone or just admiring the cherry blossoms that gently floated down from their cozy branches and with each passing second she still remained standing at the particular spot.

Little did the girl knew that one person had noticed that she must've been standing there for quite sometime was approaching her he raised his eye brow as he studied the girl, she had long brown hair with a pink ribbon tied in her hair and the school uniform was of a white shirt and a blue skirt and knee high socks and the usual brown school shoes. "Hey," The guy called to her. The brunette looked at his direction noticing his features, he had jet black spikey looking hair white shirt with blue tie that matched her skirt and he was wearing black pants he held his school bag over his shoulder.

But what had caught her attention was his dark and mysterious grey eyes that were starring right back at her violet eyes and he didn't look half bad either, with his shirt slightly exposing his collar bone and slightly showing how toned his body was shaped. "If you stand there any longer your gonna miss out on school," He said. She looked down at the ground with her bangs covering her eyes. "I... I'm a bit nervous, what if... I screw up?" She said shyly.

"Don't worry about that, if you screw up just laugh." He said. "Laugh?" She repeated looking at him. "Yeah, it won't be such an embarrassment. Now  come on before we're late." The girl gave a nod and followed along beside him, they were quiet for quite awhile until the boy broke the silence. "I'm Kai, Kai Fubaki." The girl looked at him with a small smile and replied. "My name is, Aiko Chiemi." Kai looked at Aiko with surprise, her name suited her beautifully, he was practically lost in thought. "You coming?" Aiko  asked. "Hmm? Yeah, I'm coming." Kai  replied.

CHAPTER 1: Voice of a angel

After Math class Kai was on his way to kendo class, he was wearing his black kendo uniform. That's when he heard a piano playing from down the hall, Kai followed the calm melody as it grew clearer he also heard someone singing from the music room, it was obviously the sound of a female student singing so he stayed for awhile to hear the girl sing.

The wind blows the leaves as they rustle quietly. The birds and the bees sing their songs happily. As the frogs at the creak below haughtily croaks it bellows. That the sound of nature dear will lull you to sleep so do not be scared. Everything on this Earth you see will help you fall asleep.

Her voice was warm and gentle, it put a smile on Kai's face he never heard anything like the song he just heard, when he went to walk away he heard other voices too. "Aiko, that was so beautiful!" A female student said. "Thanks my mother would always sing it to me, it's been in my heart and it always will." Aiko replied. "You should tell her it's a beautiful lullaby." Another female student said. "I would but..." Aiko sounded sad. Kai peeked into the room. "Oh I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said something." "It's alright, but she's probably smiling right now." Aiko said with a smile. Even though talking about her mother makes her said she bounces back with her gentle smile. You shouldn't have to force that smile. Kai whispered then walked away. Aiko glanced at the music room door way, staring at it for a moment. "Is something the matter?" One of the guys asked. Aiko shook her head. "No, I just thought I heard something. Must be my imagination."

As the sun was setting upon the school grounds giving the scenery a golden glow, Aiko was cleaning up the baking class room since she volunteered to help, she looked out the window from time to time admiring the beautiful sight. "Breath taking isn't it?" She stopped and looked at the door way, Kai was standing there with a smile. "Yes it is," She smiled. "Need some help with that?" Kai asked pointing at the big box in her hands. "Please." Aiko nodded. About five minutes later the room was cleaned, they on the hand were covered in flour and they laughed together. "Come on, I'll walk you home Aiko." Kai said. "Oh, thank you." Aiko replied as she followed him out.

The walk home was quite but out of habit Aiko started humming a melody, Kai looked at her then smiled. "You sure love to sing huh?" Kai asked. "More then anything." Aiko replied. "My mother inspired me to sing since she used to be a singer back in her day, but she was in a car accident when I was only eight and so my father has been looking after me." "I see," Kai replied. "What about you, do you have something you enjoy?" Aiko asked. "Hmm, well don't laugh but I want to be a voice actor and Kendo is a hobby of mine." He replied. Aiko slightly giggled, he turned to her. "I said not to laugh." He frowned. "I bet you'd make an amazing voice actor Kai." She smiled. Kai blushed and looked away. "You really think so?" He asked. "Mm-hm, just believe in yourself and you'll make it there." Aiko said. "Oh this my house, thanks for walking me home Kai. I'll see you tomorrow." "Yeah, make sure your already up that hillside." Kai said. "I will!" Aiko waved him off.
